Coverstar Central is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team!

Coverstar Central is the premier supplier and technical support provider of automatic pool covers in the United States. We distribute, install, and service automatic pool covers across 24 states. We are a family-owned business with 45 employees throughout the US.

This position will be responsible for the sale of our products to dealers and distributors. You will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues and develop a retention plan for each account. Must be comfortable traveling to job sites and events to meet with existing and potential clients throughout the week.

A few responsibilities for this position include:

  • Maintain and grow business with existing dealers and distributors. Prospect, within the assigned region, for potential new clients and referral sources and turn into new business
  • Enter the necessary updates in our internal database, including client contact and call memos detailing key topics and background information on builders
  • Set up new builder accounts, send application and other paperwork as needed to support staff
  • Emphasize product and service benefits and assist customers with quotes, product support, and order status information
  • Assist distributors and dealers with the ordering process
  • Handle cancellations or changes in sales order and communicate the changes with the related departments
  • Work alongside the Dealer Training Specialist to coordinate installation training opportunities for dealers
  • Provide technical support for system installation, touchpad calibration, part identification, and troubleshooting for builders and homeowners
  • Suggest process improvements to increase sales, streamline order processing as well as improve efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BS in business or BA in communication
  • 2-3 Years within the automatic pool cover Industry/pool Industry in a sales capacity or four years in an outside sales capacity in another industry
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
